1/4th of the lowers behind the visiting team's bench, to students, would be nice! That, combined with the rest of a home crowd should make things tough for opposing teams to even communicate during to's. I get that it likely comes down to money...but winning IS money.

That is where the band used to be located back in the 80's - and there were more band allowed back in the day, so they were louder. I can remember one instance where this absolutely infuriated Bobby Knight...

Please tell me why almost every sports team in existence has a much higher win percentage at home than on the road. Your opinion doesn’t negate facts. Home court advantage is a real thing and it isn’t just because the team is more comfortable with the rims because they play on them more.

I'm early 30's for reference and I've been to my fair share of collegiate and professional sports games.

The only time I complain is when the idiot in front of me is standing for absolutely no reason. You'll see hundreds of people sitting down and you'd have two random dudes with a drink in their hand standing blocking a group of peoples view.

I have two more complaints actually.

People who stand in front of small kids and the elderly.
Tall people over 6'2 standing as well lol

Rupp is one of the best arenas in the country for big games that matter.

Rupp is mediocre for cupcake games. It’s always been like that for the 44 years I’ve been going to games.

We’re Kentucky. We’re not painting our faces and chests, standing up all night and going OHHHHHHHHH for 2.5 hours to will our team to victory over Jackson State. Our students barely show up for those kind of games.
