I know, but great talent with experience can sometimes play above their Coach's abilities, so it is a possibility. Then the coach worshippers will come out in large support. But I would rather he take a look at why 75-85% of fans are upset with him and turn into a KENTUCKY coach that we can all get behind.
I know that is wishful thinking, but if he wants to leave behind an ACTUAL HOF legacy, that is what he would do. If his ego wants to go out a winner, then he will drop his ego and change. A real conundrum for any guy's ego for sure!

Ralph I think it says people are done with Cal whether we won or not. Everyone would be thrilled with a championship but would still want a change and a breath of fresh air. I would like to see the program scrubbed clean of everything Cal. The dissatisfaction doesn't stem from not winning another national title. At least not most of it. It's from all the other crap. And rhe inexcusable losses. There's a difference between how we lost to UNC and Luke Maye, you can live with that even if it hurts, v losing to Auburn in a game you lead by 12 they're missing their big man and you'd beaten their ass by 27 just a week or two prior.

UK should never be in a position where losing one guy (Nerlens) is the difference between making the NCAAT or NIT.

Because at the end of the day whether you like Cal or you agree with the way he does things or not, 2 titles puts him into some rare company.

I wouldn't say I'm done with Cal but I have lost pretty much all the faith I had in him. Part of me sees more disappointment ahead and part of me thinks he figures this out and makes a couple more big tourney runs. The only reason I'm not done with him at this point is I don't know who replaces him and that is not good in my view.

It is not unreasonable to think we could contend for a Title next year. I know we are thin now (10 players) but with Oscar back and supporting pieces, it is very much possible.

The defense should be really good next year and Cals elite teams have been elite defenders.

Some think Wallace is one of the best guards to come to UK in many years. IF you get Collins/Toppin to take a big next step and Wheeler is the good version, it is possible.

So what would it take for you to get back on board with Cal or are you done?
