I can listen to the post-game coach interview again and actually learn something while getting great insights into the team, coach and players. And strategy! Did I mention strategy? Thank you Coach Pope!
Absolutely! What a nice change, right?
CMP is far more concerned with our players' mindset during the game than he is with their physical performance.

Sometimes I have to remind myself that we are seeing Coach Pope:
1. His first time through a season at a Major Blue Blood. It’s different than BYU.
2. With an entire team thrown together after Mid-April.
He doesn’t miss in interviews.

I could listen to Coach Pope talking about the team, the individual players, strategy, basketball theory, etc. all the time. I learn something new every time. He is so intelligent, not just about basketball, but just in general.
Really good comments from the WKU coach about Carr and liked his comments around the 12-minute mark about the potential of the team with Carr at the 5. Would like to see Carr get more minutes at the 5 in some stretches to spread the floor even more, especially if Amari/Garrison are struggling a bit (like they did in the first half tonight).
WKU coach handled the questions very well. Didn’t cry about officiating and gave UK props for the win. I think he will do well at WKU, and I’ll root for them anytime they’re not playing us.
Carr is a good basketball player, does a little bit of everything. Almonar (sp) was out classed tonight. Like the way Garrison plays. Has a way to go, but always plays hard.
and he’s not trying to sound smart or condescending, he’s a legitimate good dude
