Will Grier is Florida's starting QB for UK

I like Grier better, but with the o-line they have I would be very surprised if Treon Harris doesn't come into the game at some point. A pocket passer behind that line is going to take a beating this season.

No doubt about it, one patsy and one decent 2014 bowl team.

Last year, VaTech beat tOSU in their house, their only loss.

The very next week, ECU traveled and beat VaTech in their house.

So while ECU is not a top team, they aren't a chump patsy either...

Oh so you played last years ECU team this year? Impressive sir...

ECU lost their "franchise" QB and offensive coordinator. Not the same team, at all.

What you've failed to notice or acknowledge is that NOWHERE on this board have I claimed that the Gators will win the game. I also have no score prediction. I have in fact granted that UK has as much of a chance to win the game as UF has.

But if you want snide, I could ask you who won 3 of the last 5 SEC-C's in B-Ball?
(snicker) :bomb:
UK beat you all three times last year and has been to four final fours in five years with a national championship. Also Florida isn't going to be relevant in basketball for the for forseeable future.

Funny I am in Knoxville TN today and was listening to the local radio sports talk show. Im thinking that UK has a shot at this game and then he brings it back into check.

"KY will lose because that is all they know how to do. They are losers on the football field and beating a very crappy SC team didnt change that"
Troll. At least the other Florida fans are bringing actual sports discussion. They can stay as I enjoy opposing fans talking with us but you can get out.

I didn't think that you'd want to answer that one though... :joy: [roll]

Good night guys, gotta run, other sticks in the fire, but nice chatting with ya.
GoooooooooooooooooGATORS! :pimp:
A. Don't you have your own board?
B. Are you really over here talking ish about a team you needed every single break and a terrible terrible missed call to win in OT at home last year? Not to mention UK is better and it's debatable of UF is is even the same if not worse. How about you beat us without 10 lucky bounces and 3 terrible officiating mistakes then come back sunshine.

As to Grier, he was the Parade HS PoY and has been going against UF's Top 3 SEC defense in practice since Jan of 2014, (20 months).:boxing:

Your team didn't exactly dazzle anyone with their play.... I think this is what you call empty threats....

Hey I'm glad to see some gators over here talking a little trash instead of congratulating us for a 73-7 beating. Must be doing something right!

Here's some actual footage of Grier's every drop back so far. You can see why Gator fans are excited about him, but at the same time feel a bit uneasy with him back there.

New Mexico State:

East Carolina:

I don't know why but Instagator strikes me as somebody sitting in their room wearing gator footsie pajamas eating lucky charms out of a box typing stuff and giggling about it

redshirt frosh, playing only his 3rd college football game ever, first road game of his career

I say start sending 6 or 7 blitzers at him the second he steps foot off the plane tomorrow, and not stop until about 11 pm Sat night

No doubt we will give him multiple looks and bring the heat at times to keep him off balance, but Harris will be in there half the time and can burn you big time with his legs so we have to be careful about that.

NO offense but there are FCS teams that could put up numbers like that against New Mexico State. Don't know a lot about Eastern Carolina except that the lost a ton off of last year's team.

Grier is more than capable of winning this game.
So is Towles. In fact sports writers have been claiming UK has the better QB. I think UK has the better offense but Florida has the better defense. Not sure about special teams but UK special teams have done their job so far this year.
