A lot of the mock drafts have him as a lottery pick. I think you're alone in this view. Not a lottery pick, I have serious concerns with him being a NBA player or bench player probably a g leaguer at best.

I do think he should apply for the draft, but for his future he should, IMO, come back for at least 1 more year. I have serious concerns about his lateral quickness to keep up with NBA speed, he has a tremendous problem staying in front of his man much of the time. Playing against grown men every day, especially when your still a teenager, is tough for almost anyone. For his confidence, which is so important, I just think it's best for him to come back and mature before making the move to the NBA. I remember Alford, from Indy, which Reed reminds me of, great college player but wasn't made for the NBA and it's speed. Just hope the best for a great young man and appreciate him and his family. Not a lottery pick, I have serious concerns with him being a NBA player or bench player probably a g leaguer at best.
If Reed is projected top15 he goes and he would be a fool not to. Who is to say he will get better, who is to say next year could be a bust. I want him to stay but he cannot if he is projected top 15.Because of our track record of players leaving early and oftentimes way too early, you would think Reed takes the money and runs. I think Reed and his parents are well aware of possible barriers for him to succeed in the pros right now and, for that reason, I think he stays another year and works to get better in those areas. Richards, Washington and others are playing in the pros now because they took that extra year or two. Love Reed but I kind of expect his draft status to change a little before draft day. Whatever he does , I support him.
one projection. Out of probably dozens.I saw on here the other day he was projected top 5, if so (or top 10) he should go.
Honestly, you can't blame him if he's got a guaranteed lottery spot.
I've never been upset with a guy leaving when he's projected as a lottery pick.If Reed wasn’t from Kentucky, and he left for the NBA, we would all be upset that he left without being ready.
