Why can't transfers or early enrollees participate in or at the bowl game? If they are enrolled and on campus, they are proceeding towards a degree or course of study, so they should be able to practice and attend if there is room on the roster.

Second semester doesn't start technically until after bowl season, so they are not considered to be enrolled in classes until they actually start attending class.

More NCAA BS.

That wa s the way the rules were back in the day. I guess it still applies today. Who knows???

You can play for the new school, but you would have to secure a waiver that has almost never happened. There is a NCAA rule that says you cannot play for two teams in the same season and the bowl game is considered the same season. Which I think is a good rule or you will soon have in season transfers (trades). Florida State could just go out and find a new qb for the last two games and make the playoffs. :)
