I’m not going to point out how good a human cal is because his ego pushed him to stay 5-6 years too long and was just pushed out less than a year ago. Would have been awesome if that bracket had been at rupp. Who you pulling for??

Yes. They are a terrible shooting team.
Flipside is their offense doesn't turn it over at all and they are 9th in offensive rebounding %. So they can afford a low FG% because they take many more shots than their opponent typically.

Sometimes their best offense is similar to our Cal teams in the early days..........a missed shot, rebound, putback lol.

If/when Pitino wins the first round, he’ll then face a coach who has been to the Final Four 4 (Self) to 6 (Cal) times in second round. And Pitino has been in it 7 times. Should make for some intense first and second round games.

Anyone know how many times 2 coaches who have played against each other twice for the Title have met again in the first round? The Cal vs Self matchups are usually entertaining.

Unpopular take but I’d personally pull for Cal. Just because Pope is our coach doesn’t mean I all of a sudden love Pitino lol. I honestly don’t get that but to each their own and hey that’s cool for those pulling for Pitino.

As far as the Cal leaving no players situation, that’s part of the game. Heck Pope was trying to bring most of the BYU current players and recruits with him here too. There’s nothing wrong with it.

I’m not sure that Arkansas beats Kansas but if they do I just don’t see them beating St John’s.
