1. Cal's open support of the BLM organization, which IMO, is a domestic terrorist organization. There's no need for ANY coach to publicly announce their support for ANY social agenda.
2. Our non existent offense. There is simply no excuse for a HOF coach to be unable to teach, and implement an offense to suit his current roster. If college basketball as a whole has become unwatchable, and it has, then our offense is enough to make one want to run from the room. Pathetic, just pathetic.
3. Cal seems to believe he's the Emperor of a kingdom and answers to no one, and his tendency to belittle the biggest, most knowledgeable and passionate fanbase in the world, has truly pissed me off to no end. We were here before you Cal, and we will be here when you're history. Fact.
4. His stubborn refusal to play a guy off the bench who MIGHT just ignite the team and, you know, be able to PUT THE BALL IN THE BASKET. The last time I checked that is still the object of the game.
Like others, I could go on and on, but Cal, despite his overall success here, has made UK basketball unwatchable, and frankly, turned something that many, many people love into something that they just no longer watch.
If he would just admit his way of doing things is no longer working, and he needs to change the way he runs the program, stop hiring his old buddies who can't get a decent job at a high level school like UK, and hire assistants who can actually help him turn this train wreck around, then I would say OK, let's give the guy the chance because he DOES deserve that chance.
He won't, I know it, you know you, everyone knows it, thus that being the case, he needs to find other employment after this season.
