I gave up my Smart Phone and high speed connection when I retired. I've watched a few games using ESPNGO this year but would like to possibly broaden availability. What do you people use?

Amazon TV Fire Stick?
Google App?
Any other suggestions?

Thanks much!

I watched the KSU game through my Xbox 360 ESPN app. Unfortunately, my local internet can get skippy and stop. Can't really get radio reception except through TuneIn. Which isn't bad but I prefer to watch even if the feed is quirky.

I gave Slingtv a 7 day trial and was sold. The sports package costs $5 more with the basic $20 a month and you get all the ESPN english channels and SECNetwork. If hooks up with a HDMI cable from laptop to tv. Very satisfied. With a basic TWC internet and an outside antenna, I am set for the season for less than $50 a month. I'm am retired also.
UkbasketballLive crew provides several streaming links that work good without any additional expense for any subscription.

Do you have a problem with content being blocked with the ROKU? I tried to watch the Vandy game on ESPNGO last night and it was apparently blocked for me although I could get other games.
I do see a blackout on occasion, but it's rare. I was able to get the Vandy game last night. Odd that it would have been blacked out for you.

sling tv. If you have tmobile you can get sling for 14.99 a month for a year. Usually 20 bucks a month but TMOBILE made a deal with them.

I don't know what parameter they use. I have watched a ton of content on ESPN3/ESPNGO. There isn't a problem with about 95% of my selections but I do get the occasional Block. I'm trying to find a work around because I really love college BB

Well I used to think that some games were blacked out online if they were available on local TV channels. Not sure though.

I have two Rokus and one Firestick. The Rokus load faster and have a better quality stream.

Firestick offers more streaming options, Including FoxSportsGo. Usually, when a game is blacked out on ESPN3, it is on FoxSports. At least that has been my experience. Louisville / VA was blacked out on ESPN3 last week...it was on FSG. Same thing (alot) for WKU games. But the Firestick ESPN channels can get really choppy at times.

You can also sideload Kodi.tv onto Firestick. Kodi is a cable cutters lifeline.

Rokus. I have a Google TV too, but it doesn't do as well as the Rokus. I'm really considering SlingTV when my Direct TV contract expires. Only 2 worries is DVR and only being able to use it on one tv.

My computer is hooked to my TV via HDMI cable. I watch on the big screen. The processor in the computer rocks.

I recently bought an Amazon Fire Stick and got a trial of SlingTV. Both have the WatchESPN app. I seem to get more reliable reception just through the stick.

I've got an old MacMini with HDMI. I just stream it from there. From the work shop, I've got an old TV with a Roku. Works pretty good either way. More a function of your internet bandwidth, I think.

Love my Roku's- have a 3 in the bedroom and Roku 2 in the living room. The Roku 2 stick came with a deal with Sling- I signed up for 3 months service and got a free roku with the deal. Not sure if they still have it or not though. I do use WatchESPN app for games as it seems to be a little more reliable than Sling.
