What you said, although I think I'll wait until I see the team actually play before I get my hopes up.
To be in the race for a shot at the title every year, hee done an awesome job these last 6 seasons, course were all nuts anyway
I think some people have confused "expressing concern" with "extensively and exclusively posting on threads when there is an opportunity to lament the current state of affairs or to pick a fight with someone who isn't currently mid-lamentation".
Exactly the point I made to SOS the other day. Having an opinion is one thing, prowling the board for positive posts to squash with cherry picked, arm chair quarterback'ing criticism is something else. Opinion changes to advocate...active selling.
It reminds me of the ridiculously long three point shot...where fans, announcers and coaches are like "no-no-no-YES! We will never know how the UK-Duke game would have went and we were down 1 point with 56 seconds left against Wisc. If one of several things gone different in that last 56 seconds, 99% of the gripes would be close to nonexistent.
Nobody is happy about the outcome...but in a single elimination tourney, the last 2-3 games are rarely a lock and can be decided by something as simple as who has the last run. Not a reason to meltdown and start eating our own.
We ALL want titles every year...and that is what the coach and team should aspire to every year......The problem is that it won't happen every year and therefore we should enjoy the ride as much as possible
This year was a great example....38-0 at one point and BBN was having the time of their lives! So just hang on to those memories, enjoy them, and look forward to new names, a new team, and a new way of playing for '15-'16

I know what I want as a fan of the University of Kentucky, I want to be included in the talk as a team that could win it all. Many years as a fan have taught me Championships should be celebrated, they are not coming in groves like some here seem to believe. Last year was an opportunity missed, the pressures of being undefeated caught up with some of our players and we couldn't get it done.
Sometimes its an injury or one single players attitude that can derail a great team. Getting to the final 4 so many times just spoils some, they think just because your favored to win you always win. So far Cal has taken us to new heights, if he gets another banner in the next 5 years he will be way ahead of our UK average.
I would not be telling the truth if I didn't tell you I find myself wanting certain kids to return in some years. I can't truthfully tell you I haven't wished for some to go as quickly as possible. Some left after this year that I wished had left last year, if they had left we would have never went 38-0.
In the end, I am a UK fan through and through. I want our program to be at the top and respected for our history and our future. Go CATS !!!!!!!!
