Have you heard them cover the Doors' debut album? Really good. Think Robbie Kreiger may have joined them on it.
No, not yet. I will make it a point to do so, thanks!

I saw her at the Palace within the past few years. She lectured people. I agree with her, but also think when you pay the cost of a show today, you do you.She definitely used to, but not anymore.
Everyone was filming and she never said a word. She was in a great mood and I guess it doesn't bother her these days. She will be 72 on September 7th and still has it ... no question !! I was less than a free throw's distance from both her and James Walbourne (absolutely incredible guitarist) the whole set and got plenty of great stills and videos. So lucky to have been there ... in such a great little venue ... !!!
Yes. I was at that show and recall the same. Also, I have seen her admonish people at the Taft (Cincy) and Marat (Indy) ,where she called people out and was a little testy about it. It seems she has mellowed ... phones were everywhere in The Blue Room on Saturday. Btw ... tix were only $64.06 and were sold through DICE. It was all pretty cool ...I saw her at the Palace within the past few years. She lectured people. I agree with her, but also think when you pay the cost of a show today, you do you.

If you have the time … this might suit you … full album !!!Listening to Buddy Guy right now. He is so good. Brubeck and then Miles Davis with John Coltrane. Beautiful night here in Louisville to sit out and listen to music with good bourbon.
Chrissie turned 72 yesterday and posted this on facebook today. You can see she has mellowed and is trying to not let the camera/recording thing bother her. Here is a cut-and-past of her message to fans:Don’t record her. She gets pissed when she sees people holding their phones up during her shows.
I am a Split Enz and Crowded House fan, but that song does not achieve what came before, IMO.Still so young to travel so far
Old enough to know who you are

I understand ... their discography is huge and everyone has their favorites. Like you, I am a huge fan of their entire career and will see anything "Finn" whenever I can. My favorite song is MESSAGE TO MY GIRL ... fwiw.I am a Split Enz and Crowded House fan, but that song does not achieve what came before, IMO.
I assume you saw Tim Finn do a solo show at a Catholic church in Louisville. I cannot remember the name of the church, but it was after the Finn Brothers tour that played Headliners.
I love that song and was listening to it just yesterday ... amazing. I like "Death and Glory" quite a lot by them.

It was pretty good. Everyone sat in the pews and he played with his back to us, oddly enough. He had just released an album and was touring on it.I did not.
Outstanding. Check out another… faces start melting at 2:45This is as good a live performance as you will find on youtube, in my opinion. It ROCKS !!!!
Very very good !!! Great talent !!!
