What are you listening to?

Nah, don't be that way. I enjoy music of ALL genres. Except Motown. Motown is absolute garbage.

U2 had its OPENING NIGHT at THE SPHERE last night in Las Vegas. Here is the setlist, if interested:

Myself farting for 10 straight strides walking down the sidewalk at night. Life is great.
Do you expel in sync with foot landing or are you in the middle of strides !! Just curious ... Before I retired, I would have similar episodes down the office hallways ... always in sync with my foot landing. For me, it was uncontrollable and natural.

If you don't improv your farts to the chords of "Giant Steps" what are you even doing in the music thread?

Really good setlist. Love that they're getting all of Achtung Baby in, not just the hits.

I come offering three bands. One from Oldham County (Knocked Loose). For context, Knocked Loose is a hardcore band that was invited to Coachella which is pretty wild considering they were the only metal outfit there. They tore the place up. They are, for sure, an acquired taste.

Billy Strayhorn -- Duke Ellington's great collaborator -- wrote some amazing, gorgeous melodies. The saxophonist here, Scott Hamilton, came to this kind of music almost 50 years ago when it already been fading from memory for 20 years or so. But good music lasts. If you feel like everything is already sparking like an over-eager electric chair, this might be a safe place for you.

-caught turnstile at louder than life...got a big Jane's addiction vibe. A little fugazi feel as well.

-Was there to see the greatest active/current rock band going:

And, of course, the greatest filmed jazz dance in history. Reportedly done in a single take and with the dance equivalent of a "head arrangement". The cameras were given cues but the brothers winged it.

And, iirc, one of the brothers wore the wrong shoes.

Following up their last thrash/metal offering, King Gizard just dropped some trance/techno stuff earlier this week that absolutely slaps (hello, fellow kids!). These guys just do whatever they want, and its always quality. And the sheer volume of music they release in a given year is just insane.
