Correct that he isn't an SEC ref but, if I recall correctly, he worked both the UCLA loss and the Vandy comeback win in Rupp this year.
After the crap storm he started, I doubt he does ever again. I'm pretty sure he thinks UK fans are crazy by now.

I took no part in the craziness (other than bitching about him here on the board), but I'm glad some people did.
His actions have damaged too many potential title seasons already. And just regular whining was never going to change anything. I think the only way to get him out of our lives was to scare him this way, so he doesn't want to come back. If it makes our fanbase look crazy, oh well...everyone else already thinks that.

It's looking like a mass exodus is gonna happen in Chapel Hill, and since Ol' Roy isn't recruiting very well, it might be ugly for the Cheats

Yes, he did UCLA and Vandy, and he called the quick T on Cal for being out of the coaching box trying to get another ref's attention (Higgins was across the floor and called it, if I recall correctly).
No chance. It's a conflict of interest at this point. We hate him for being a cheater.. and he hates us because we called him on it.
BBN and the ones with their ears closest to the beat, need to catch wind of the possibility of Higgins officiating ANY of our games.. if it comes up.. we as a collective need to voice our concerns to the school, NCAA, and in a last ditch effort, at the game..

If he EVER calls another NCAA game involving UK, Mitch should be fired.
Higgins stepping foot in Rupp next year is akin to Kim Jong Un stepping foot in America.

Referees are independent contractors for the most part. He can choose which out-of-conference games he wants to ref and which ones he doesn't.
If he refs a game in Rupp next year it's by his own choosing. I doubt he'd want to do that.
Doesn't mean UK doesn't get him in the NCAA tournament (or on the road) however.
To restate what I posted on another Higgins thread, I hope Mitch will grow a pair, and see to it that this ass-clown never calls a UK game ever again.
Do we play Kansas next year? If so, it would be there, and there is a 100 per cent chance he would do that game.
He was one of the refs in 4 of our biggest losses: 05 Mich State, 11 UConn, 15 Wisconsin and 17 UNC. Our 3 wins when he was one of the refs were against: EKU, Cornell, and Vandy.

I don't like TV Teddy either (who does?) but at least we have won 74.5% of the games he officiates.

Ayers and Higgins are, statistically and otherwise, by far the worst we have dealt with in the Calipari era.
If this happened to be larger than Higgins.. Of course he's going to officiate in the final4.. That's part of the deal.

The NCAA will make sure to send a message that their referee assignments can not be dictated by intimidation or harrassment.
It would be a horrible precedent if the NCAA pulled Higgins from uk games.... and they know this.

Who cares if they win the title. They draw one closer and won't care if we win next year in a meaningless regular season game. That said, the refs will keep it close in Chapel Hill.
