As far as how they were treated while at UK Wenyen didn’t get the same kind of bashing that Goodwin, Briscoe, Diallo, and Hagans got from this fanbase . Maybe he should have .
Or maybe none of them should have.

straight up weirdos on this boardWhat type of logic is that ? You do know that plenty of UK guys probably comment on his post right ? You must can’t stand PJ Washington and De’Aaron Fox either then.
Well, what did he say?Hell hagans is even commenting on his posts...not about the stuff...but him commenting in and of itself means hes on board with gabriel...cant stand him either.
Anyone find it odd you are trying to make a divisive subject even MORE argumentative and divisive?Anyone else find it odd that the Calipari kids arent commenting on this? They comment on everything else.
that really clarifies it...you're such a hypocriteLook for yourself smartass...
It’s a shame I can only like this once!Wenyen had some of the same issues that other guys his size have had at UK. His lateral quickness was very poor and it made him a defensive liability. His shooting was inconsistent at best during his freshman season. It improved during his 2nd season but his lack of lateral quickness still caused him trouble staying on the floor. Calipari has always made it clear- I've heard him say it a dozen times at least- "I can't hide you out there." If we're playing man to man and they come at you every time down the floor and keep scoring, you can't be left on the floor.
Gabriel was also a bit of a tweener. He had the height (6-9) of a power forward but lacked the bulk and strength (205 lbs) to defend that position. He wanted to play the game of a small forward but lacked the shooting, ball handling, passing skills, and quickness to play or defend that position. Whose fault is that? You can't blame Cal for that. So, you either bulk up and play the 4 or you work on quickness and shooting and play the 3. Trouble is, Gabriel never got there. He was starting to be strong enough to play a stretch 4 at the end of his sophomore year. Had he stayed one more season, he might have become a really solid stretch 4 as a junior. His shooting was improving and so was his strength. But he left just when he was getting better. Again, whose fault is that?
