I don't recall ever being in the camp that has called for Cal's removal, but acting like the criticisms this year are unwarranted is a bad investment of argumentation, even in regard to those who are tired of the Cal paradigm of 10-15% roster retention. Not saying you're in the camp either, but that's been my larger contention today - there's nuance in many different arguments. I'm not sure there's one particular monolith from which to segment two camps into "fire Cal" or "Cal idol worship."

Criticizing, highlighting issues or asking for something to be tweaked or changed is one thing (which I have done many times).
Calling for Cal to be fired or replaced is a completely different (and moronic) thing and something I have never done.
Lmao we are 4-6 and some are acting like Cal is vindicated and doing great. He had issues before the year started. Finally playing one great game out of the 10 total this year changes nothing for me. Still needs to go.

98 we won a National title, then the coach than won that title was ran out and we ended up on a much better place.
84-93 was riddled with probation and we landed Pitino who’s 10 times the coach of Calipari.

He still hasn’t been to a final four since 2015. To get paid $9 million a year, you should expect more. Especially with the amount of talent that’s come through there. Can he make a run this year? Probably not

Never were going to fire him. Either change drastically with the nba culture crap, calm down on the sidelines and revamp the offense or resign. Too expensive to fire him. But he must get better as an in game coach right away. Don’t be afraid to ask your assistants for help.
Cal did a terrible job of coaching and mismanaged the roster until the last couple of games. And his pissy attitude was unwarranted. Cal made this shit sandwich so own it. Missing Brooks was a big blow though- bigger than I thought earlier in the year. However they looked good against Florida. It was fun to watch. I can see this team being a tough out in March but will the 1-6 start prevent us from seeing it? Time will tell. First thing first- beat Bama.
