Didn't win with players he recruited, didn't offer Durant, told wright to take his visits, didn't have the talent of some of the other schools...
The Fax™ is one of my favorite things of his tenure. "Oh, I had the fax all along. I just misplaced it." It's hilarious in it's ridiculousness, but it also kept Randolph from getting lost in the weeds. He didn't get drafted, Tubby came up with a solution to get him back in school. It's better than the alternative for Morris, which would've been no NBA and no degree to fall back on. That kind of shady, the kind that helps people and doesn't hurt anybody, I can live with.
I don't know man. I just don't think Tubby is deserving of the nonsense that gets talked about him even after all these years. He won a championship, won a lot of games, and had some of the most loved teams and players of all time.
