Watching an old Calipari coached UMass game against Temple.

Would you believe Chaney is a hall if fame coach.
IMO, that diminishes the honor a little.

I guess Chaney made the hall of fame for coaching what feels like century, but never actually thought the coach as the hall of Famer sort with watching his team's at Temple and the results on the floor. If you can last at a school long enough, making the hall of fame isn't out of the question. To be in the hall of fame talks, a title feels like it should be a requirement. I know most may never be lucky enough to have a roster talented enough, but hall of fame should mean you were one of the very best during the time you coached and these days it doesn't feel like it matters as much.

I remember someone saying that Chaney is a better coach than Cal. Why? Chaney has one elite Eight while Cal took UMass to the Final Four.
