Now that the euphoria has died down I can look at this logically and if anything they got off a little on the light side. Games vacated, standard punishment for ineligible players seems more than it is because there is a NC involved. Returning monies, trophies, banners etc., also standard procedure. Pitino's five game suspension, four yr probation, and the paltry hit on scholarships are basically nothing.
We have only perceived it as being harsh because we didn't really expect the NCAA to do much of anything. If not for the banners, we would have been outraged at them getting off so easy.
