UofL In Deep Doo-Doo... Tim Sullivan: Former infractions chair says Louisville faces high bar.

One always has a choice between what they think is right and wrong. I've read many times in recent years that the NCAA is very reluctant to vacate a title, but UL may just have managed to make themselves the first. And if UL's title finally comes down I would think it wouldn't bode well for UNC.

No chance the penalties get reduced. The COI stated UL was not forthcoming in the investigation. They would have continued to stonewall. When confronted with evidence they finally admitted guilt. Even though unrelated the Foundation and school scandals will affect the NCAA's opinion.

UL is challenging that they was forthcoming. Obviously another lie. But the appeals committee has plenty of challenges they can just use as excuses to reduce penalties. Not saying they will do that but with the wrong people on the committee it is possible.

When my Dad pulled off his belt, I always filed an objection to the verdict and severity of the penalty about to be inflicted.

I can't remember that working even one time....

I've had a few of the original cans of WHOOPASS opened up on me in that era...

My Dad NEVER crossed the line, but in this age I would have been in Foster Care before age 8.

Yeah I received the S&S treatment (Strap & Switch) until I got to the age I had accrued some sense. (I was actually about 12 or so when the honor thy father and mother switch came on for good. Never disrespected my parents but I did cross some lines...

Never worked with my Dad either. As a matter a fact he would always tell me that it was for my own good. I could never figure out how all that pain was for my own good.

Anything is possible that is why they do all of this appeals crap.

Plus forcing sex on minors and recruits who were not respondent to the "gift" really bothered some on the ncaa board, which it should have.

From the link:

"Louisville’s argument is that the Committee on Infractions overreached, that its decision to vacate 123 games (including the 2013 NCAA Championship) was “unjust” and “grossly disproportionate” because players who attended Andre McGee’s sex parties at Billy Minardi Hall had no part in arranging them “and no choice in attending.”"

I'd be shocked if they take the banner.
I'd be shocked if they don't,UL deserves far more than loss of games and banners,be grateful you low moral scum that UL didn't get hit harder for being a remorseless cesspool.Never seen such low life excuses for fans that are not upset about the blatant cheating, only that they got caught.

Why does most people seem to assume that the appeal committee will not have some rogue people on it??? The evidence is cut and dry and the penalties look to be about right, yet, it all hinges on the appeal committee that could be rule abiding ethical people or could not be.

Why do you assume it is full of rogue people looking to save UofL's ass?

If that is the case it can't be good news for UNC because they have lied, cheated and deferred the entire investigation.
