Under What Circumstance Would You Become Interested in an IU/UK Renewal?

That's just what you hope happens. I don't know about two titles in the next decade but he'll have good teams and make some runs.

I can be objective with this deal. I agree Indiana might get a little run a time or two in the next decade. A coach who hasn't had any high level experience, final fours etc. will not be the savior for Bloomington. You will be surprised with what you had in Crean versus the new guy. He isn't ahead of Crean yet. Crean came in with some solid experience and success. This guy has none.

Crean is a horrible coach. He's fine as long as he has the personnel to run what he knows but if he doesn't he isn't able to adapt to what he has. He tried to be Cal. Problem with that is when you don't have an elite pg you can't play fast and yet he would just try to play faster. That's one reason he is no longer the coach.

CAM is definitely a great coach. His unknown is can he recruit with the big boys. Only time will tell.

What makes Miller a great coach?
Have you watched Dayton play? I have and it's clear his teams are very well coached. Their fan base loved him and UD offered him 3 million a year in an attempt to keep him. Mid majors don't do that unless they know they have someone that will be nearly impossible to replace. I'm not saying he's a slam dunk as he has to prove he can recruit and manage the personalities that come with elite recruits. But I don't see why he wouldn't be able to do so. With that said he wouldn't be the first can't miss up and comer to fail either.

Same old discussion. Indy/Rupp series. Otherwise go play Valpo or Oakland a home and home.

If we just go down the list of Indiana teams that are better than IU, we've got Purdue, Butler, Notre Dame, Valpo, and Oakland. Those teams first. Take a number, Hoosiers.
