In national spotlight games UofL typically shows well. They won the Sugar Bowl, beat Florida in a bowl, had FSU on the ropes last year, and played UGA close until the 4th quarter last year. Those games elevate the national profile of UofLs program. I agree that if UofL had to play in the SEC, they'd have a much harder time but they don't.
I hate UofL but ghee job they've done building their football program has been amazing. Have they done it in the sleaziest, scummiest, win at all costs way? Yes. But, they're a program with a national profile now who will soon have a stadium that's bigger than ours.
I hate them and I'm sure that Jurich has sold his soul to Satan. But I have to admit that they've built a solid program. The good thing about UofLs rise is that it's forced UK to get better.
Well let's see muck, 7 out of your last 15 posts were on, you guessed it, UofL threads. Wow Puzzy, you love you some Tardinal action! You talk about obsessed, yet you've been posing as a UK fan for almost 1500 posts. You can't get any more obsessed than that my friend. Come on out of the closet Puzzy. You've never fooled anyone anyway.![]()
Though I am not happy we lost, you can't help but see that the future at UofL is very bright. We had the best player on the field Saturday and it wasn't even close.
What is your record vs UK?
BTW, that 1950 Sagarin title counts according to the NCAA, so yes we have a title. As a fb fan you are obviously many years in the past when there was more than one MNC, thus the name MNC. It even happened as recently as 2003.

Well. I can only say that is a pretty subjective comment. Not sure how you can say Jackson is the best player on the field. Maybe on that day, given what Auburn had planned on doing, he was the best. I can guarantee this, now teams will plan for Jackson so I am not sure you can necessarily expect a repeat. I remember last year when JoJo Kemp did the same thing to South Carolina running the wildcat. The problem is that Jackson played great but it was quite one dimensional. It looked to me like he made some great plays but Auburn also didn't seem to adjust. They kind of kept their same game plan and didn't adjust to Petrino's adjustments.
Actually, I am a retired Viet Nam era veteran. I played more sports than the lot of you jokers put together....even when I was 55, lol. Otherwise, I am blond and basically Dutch, I guess, lol. I saw a family geneology and we arrived on this continent and settled New Amsterdam, lol. My family name is in the oldest graveyard in NYC. I am a 15th generation Yank.
So with all of this really, really, and I mean really impressive background, how did you manage to turn out to be such a loser?
What time does Kindergarten finish? I want to walk home with you guys.
And a pervert as well it seems.

That makes no senseSo you are not sure how someone else can say what you just said?
Cats78, I'm glad I could add a little idiocy to your day. My take is this: why is it so hard for people to tip their hat to the strides that UofL has made with their program? I HATE UofL as much as anyone. Hell, I root for anyone that plays against them in any sport. I loath Tom Jurich, the linebeards, the Crown Royal/Trinity High gangstas, the fans, and the school in general. In short, I HATE UofL.No offense to you personally, but your last two posts are two of the most idiotic things I've ever read.
Auburn most certainly did not take their foot off of the gas. That's just crazy talk. Jackson was simply a game changer. I seem to recall many of you poo pooing Teddy Bridgewater's early performances as well. I will just warn you to be careful with that. Jackson is the real deal.Jackson was still 8-20 for 100 yards and a int. He has a long way to go as a QB.
Auburn took the foot off the gas, plain and simple.

My first trick, bluehomer, was learning how to make a legible post.
I'll be glad to invest a day or two with you to teach you this elusive art.
I've raised children, lol, something you apparently have yet to do. Honestly - trust me on this - the scene of an adult man walking with a small child is not necessarily always perverted. That your interpretation says it is says much more about you than it does about me, I am afraid.

As always with any player... the proof is always on the pudding as the saying goesNice story saying that they took their foot off the gas even though that was not what the Auburn coaches and players were saying after the game
All I know is the kid coming out of HS was a legit 4*and Jim McElwain and the Florida Gators wanted him real bad and it was somewhat of a surprise that he didn't flip to them...also Petrino has said even with his rocket arm he can make all the throws required for his offense...we shall see in the coming weeks.
As for the Bridgewater comments...very correct on that.. he had many doubters here after his Freshmen year...now he is one of the best young QB in Pro Football

Since I do not watch Otis play I can't say one way or the other about Jackson or the game, but I find it hard to believe that up 24 -0 that Aub wasn't playing some 2nd and 3rd string playersThe sample size is still too small for the Louisville Freshmen that now play on offense...5 currently play huge roles in the skilled positions and offensive line...will have a much better feel in about 4 weeks
Well, gee, if you feel that way about it. I hate when my insincerity boils over. I feel like I'm the bug under the microscope. There is no substitute for clarity of purpose, however - it was getting a bit boring over here anyway.Sorry for my comments being buried in the "quote" as I freely admit I don't post very much and am not as message board savvy as others. Very impressive nonetheless that you were still able to somewhat figure it out. Yet another bullet to add to your "why I'm so awesome list". And no, there is absolutely nothing that you can teach me. Nothing at all.
As for my first post in this thread, I'm more than happy to further elaborate just in case you didn't get all of it due to its illegible nature.
You are a rival fan hanging out on a rival's message board with flaming being the only intention, and you are only here because of your team's recent success in the series. Then for reasons known only to you, you feel compelled to tell us how really, really awesome you are in response to criticism. That's the "loser" part.
Secondly, an anonymous poster making overtures to complete strangers about walking kids home from kindergarten comes off as a little perverse to me. Since you are a parent like myself, it's interesting what your interpretation of posting something like that says about you, I am afraid.
In closing, I fully admit that my purpose of responding to you is to hopefully have the moderators boot you off this site, just as I successfully did years ago on one of the old UK Scout boards. I'll take the chance of speaking for all of us here and state that the elimination of your arrogant and sniveling drivel on this site is for the better. Save it for your buddies over at ILBV.
Hey tard . Are you curled up in a fetal position with Zip right now?Well, gee, if you feel that way about it. I hate when my insincerity boils over. I feel like I'm the bug under the microscope. There is no substitute for clarity of purpose, however - it was getting a bit boring over here anyway.
