Cats trailed 3-2 going to the bottom of the 7th, they then exploded for 7 runs to take control by a count of 9-3. Now going to the bottom of the 7th. Nelson started and went 5 innings, Dwyer has pitched well in relief. Hang on Cats !!

Can't stand prosperity, Cats give up 5 runs in the bottom of the 8th. A 3 run HR off our closer Spencer Jack reduces it to 9-8 bottom of the 8th geeze !!

In the top of the 9th Kyle Cody is coming in to try to close this out. 2 outs with a runner on 1st and the score still 8-9.

He got him, got Florida's best hitter Geshue to ground to 1st base. CATS win 9-8 and take the series for the 2nd year in a row over the Gators !

Cody comes in and gets a ground out to 1st base to end the game!! UK takes a very important series!! Florida is atop the SEC East so taking them down is very big for us.

I was wondering why Henderson didn't use Kyle Cody yesterday in the late innings to get a stop for UK. Glad he used him today.

UK is right in the thick of this now. We avoid LSU, MIss state, and arkansas...all excellent teams. Our toughest series are behind us (USC, UF, Vandy)...a few sweeps and we're in great shapes. Keep winning series 2-1, and a league title is within reach.

Need to take care of business against the likes of Mizzou this week.

Great points, if we can win series we would be in great shape. We own the tie breaker against both So. Carolina, and Florida. BTW, those 2 play each other next weekend, so one of those teams will suffer a set back. We have Mizzou, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Auburn, and Georgia left over the next 6 weekends.

Cats quietly having a pretty strong season so far. Lets hope they can keep it up.
