Smith cruises through two innings, but defense has been a total shit show in the third. Two errors (one by burkes, one by smith) and the visitors have a 3-0 lead when UK should have been out of the inning having held them scoreless.

Doesn't seem like a good formula to have terrible defense to go with bad offense. Yikes.

Score was a little misleading since it was 5-1 with two out in the 8th before the two of the final three pitchers on the staff got blitzed but it was NOT a good day for the boys in blue.
