How is St Johns that low? I do believe that everything now depends upon the rest of the season. History shows the conference tournaments don't really influence the seedings. But, there are always a few surprises in these conference tournaments that are won by a team not likely to be in otherwise and that knocks others out.

Good to see. Weathering the storm, more or less. We are somewhat dangerously close to the 4-5 teams behind us.

We sit at 3.31... but TTU, St. Johns, Michigan Purdue and Arizona are pretty close behind falling in the 3.60 to 3.80 range. Have to win one more I think to safely stay in the 3-seed.

IF the SC is similar then we are still on the cusp of a 2 seed and that is why the next four games matter. If we could win the OU, LSU, and one of AU and Missouri, I think we could get a 2 seed if we are the 11th overall currently. If we win all four it is almost guarenteed. Lose 3 of 4 and could drop all the way to the last four or even a 5.

So Lunardi has us, not just a 3 seed, but the second strongest three seed. How do the doom and gloomers on this site who are projecting a best case scenario of a six seed feel about this? Does it change any minds? I doubt it

Probably won't happen. Duke would have the one of easiest 4 seeds (for them) and the hardest 2 seed. Guess which one will be changed!
True.

The SC has so much flexibility with how they can set up the tourney, that they can justify almost anything. If they want to help Duke out, they have ways of doing that and saying that it was to “balance the brackets” or whatever.

I am still mad about how they set up the 2015 tourney. That was a travesty and it was setup to get Duke to the title game to play UK. Everyone knew the top four teams that year were UK, Wisconsin, Duke, and Arizona. But instead of seeding them that way, they manipulated the bracket to give Duke an easier path to the title. They were afraid that if they put Wisconsin on the same side as Duke, the Devils might not make it to the title game to play UK. They wanted that title game matchup for ratings and were afraid that Wisconsin would mess it up. They did anyway, but it was at our expense.

ESPN article talks about Cheats 4 game win streak, 3 have losing records and are in the hundreds. Their best win in the streak 90th 16-12 FLST🤡🤡🤡

They have 1 Quad 1 win, ONE!!! and a Quad 3 loss to boot. The other team they have in Wake has 2 Quad 1 wins and a Quad 3 loss.

If they put 5 ACC teams in it will be a disgrace. Especially if anything less than 13 SEC schools make it.

They have played 1 game against teams currently ranked in the top 25. I imagine their SOS is a reason why they are that low. Big east is relatively weak this year and none of the power teams on SJU OOC schedule have a winning record in their respective conference.

The Dule bracket will make your gasp as they will have a police escort to the F4. Too much money not to have Flagg there.

BUT, they will stumble and won't make it there and he will head to the NBA.

I stated in the other thread, UK is a 3 and SHOULD remain one. Going 2-2 will do it. CANNOT lose at home to LSU. That is about the only way to guarantee not getting a 3 seed. Call me crazy, but somehow go 4-0, a 2 seed is POSSIBLE. Would need some help, but doable. UT and Florida have a VERY tough schedule remaining.
Tenn. - @LSU / @ Ole Miss
Florida - @ Georgia / Texas A&M / @ Bama / Ole Miss
Iowa State - Arizona / BYU (Just won @ Arizona Saturday) / @ Kansas State (been playing well lately, and are at home.
Arizona - @ Iowa State / @ Kansas
Michigan State - @ Maryland / Wisconsin / Michigan
Wisconsin - @ Michigan State / @ Minnesota
Texas Tech - @ Kansas
St. Johns - @ Butler / @ Marquette

So teams above and behind UK will lose some games. UK has to win the games they are suppose to and beat Auburn at home and Mizzou on the road. 2-2 remain a 3 seed, 4-0 MAYBE a 2 seed.
