First the bad: Burks didn't get to play enough considering the score, and Wagner shot poorly again, including some weird, wild scoop nonsense off the glass. He is still too one dimensional on offense. Check me but I believe DJ is 3 for his last 20 from the field.
The good: Justin Edwards. Whatever that Cat ate for breakfast, we need UK's procurement to order it in bulk and give it to all the players. Dude actually outplayed REEVES? My man. And Reeves was amazeballs as usual today.
Shep was his usual efficient self.
Big Z (or Big E depending on who's talking) finally got some run, and it showed. He was given an opportunity to get into the flow of the game, and he was disruptive on D and effective on offense. His handoffs are clean and his PNR to the rim was excellent. His post move was what we've known he can do. This kid is SKILLED. He just needs more clock.
Dillingham almost went on a tear in the second half, but no complaints about his game today. Great job. Ugo was fine and Thiero was a man. Box score says he only hit 1 three but I distinctly remember 2. Maybe he had a toe on the line.
This Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde personality going on with this team is coming to a head. They need to figure things out soon or we're looking at a 7 seed.
