Figured the line would be inflated because a lot of the metrics love Auburn and they're coming off that destruction of South Carolina but still eye opening to see such a big line given the talent gap.

I'm sure we'll get crushed on the glass and probably make their mid-major level guards look like future NBA all stars because that's the MO of this team but have to think this is the top of the market for Auburn.

Actually Vegas eventually catches on to frauds when setting opening lines. And that’s what we are. I’d love to bet Cats to cover but little faith they will without Mitchell.

Injuries, injuries, injuries…

Cal had the best luck his first few years… we stayed almost perfectly injury free. In all reality, its been a bleep show ever since. In most of the last 12 years since the title, UK has dealt with what seems like an unbelievably high number of injuries. Every year it derails the hope we have that the Cats can be the truth again!
This team never had full deck at the same time to build consistency and rhythm.

No excuses… just enormous frustration.

We've covered in 14 games this season, didn't cover in 10.

Agreed, if we do win I’ll start to believe in this team a little more but I’m not feeling this game. Cal don’t have it in him to win these type games IMO.

UK by 2-4 points because moronic sports bettors think this game will be a no-brainer for AU, but they haven’t learned how “Vegas” controls the game!

Same exact thing happened last season when UK visited Tennessee 🎯

South Carolina opened +11.5. UK's name is getting them a couple points here. Probably should be +11-12 ish. Auburn has beat everybody by at least 10 (Texas A&M) at home the next closest was 17 if I am remembering correct.

It's okay to say "shit"

Some of these guys expecting a good UK performance. I think AU will be flat coming of that huge rout and quick turnaround. Good chance for UK to surprise some folks.

Pearl mentioned in sportcenter how his players were fired up from last years ass kicking in rupp. The 6-7 auburn players on that team are really fired up for tommrrow. I either see Auburn absolutely torching Kentucky, or Kentucky wins by 3 off a miracle game

On the health topic, we did still lose Nerlens in 2013, which put the kibosh on that team, then WCS in the tournament in 2014 and then Poythress in 2015. I'd say we were OK with injuries to that point. 3 years where we were good, 3 years with fairly inpactful injuries after.

.. and then the wheels fell off from 2018 and on. We were arguably the most injured team of any major P5 program, us and Duke. But I think we edge them out.

Haven’t seen Auburn very flat at home unless they get up by 20+ and start trying to throw impossible lobs and make excessively risky passes.

Third option: pissed off Auburn team fouls like a mofo but the zebras in Auburn swallow their whistles because crowd atmosphere

Can't remember what show I was listening to but it was said that it was almost as if a curse was put on UK basketball when Davis was ok in EE game when he went down. Ever since then nearly every season has had injury drama or something else.

Feels like the old UK football team. Knowing we’re gonna get stomped days and days in advance. How do you go 9-16 at Kentucky. Literally everyone on here wouldn’t be that bad of a head coach.

We've got some Calipari fans that have accepted us into mediocrity.

Mortgage the house and pledge your firstborn. Put it all on Auburn to cover. We’re getting worse by the week; just like last year. Pearl will try to win this by 50

That Kansas team went on to win the NC.

This Auburn team has mediocre talent and was down by 35 to Florida just last week.

Still think we lose because we're soft and they're far better coached but I wouldn't be shocked if we win outright.

This. They play like their hair is on fire, especially against us. Not gonna lie, I think it's the toughest place to play in the SEC with students around the court.
