OP isn't mature enough to understand how jealousy works. When you're on top, everybody's waiting for you to stumble. Then they pounce. Look at who's pouncing. Goodman, Givony, some UK fans, rival fans. Nobody with one iota of common basketball sense cares. But the OP and others alike, lets it bother them. Weak minded individuals.

Yeah it does matter........ its not life is over type matter but it definitely is we're going to be f*cking annoyed by haters for a year now type of matter. and for Cal...... this will hurt in recruiting... bank on it.

Hurt recruiting? We have great classes every year and one loss against a Canadian team isn't going to hurt the program. Other programs hate on Kentucky all the time that's nothing new. If they wanna use this game against us who gives a damn.
Oh... Because we lost to Canada? I could have guessed it with some of the same idiots freaking out in July. I didn't watch the game (don't care), but looking at the box score I could quickly see why we lost. Also, isn't this roster like maybe a mediocre roster in terms of the type of team usually fielded by USA in this thing? Lots of kids didn't want to go to Egypt, and rightfully so.

Not going to hurt recruiting one bit. Cal is a conservative Coach he doesn't change crap..plays same way most of time... assuming he had better athletes he doesn't force the issue. He does not get after teams 94' and use that talent and athletic ability to change pace of game. He admitted today he didn't change things up. He very seldom ever does...he wins alot of games. When you take that job you better win or you will here it.
Educated basketball response is that Cal is the head coach of team USA and team USA lost by 12 to an inferior opponent.
We allowed 1 player to go off against us. And it wasnt really jump shooting... we allowed Barrett to constantly attack the rim.. no double teams... no denying him the ball... 2nd.. when it was obvious the first team couldnt shoot the earth aiming straight down...... did he switch lineups up? no... all the shooters are on team B but lacks athleticism and team A is non shooters but all athleticism.... common sense would be to always keep a shooter or two on the court to open it up for attacking the basket.
Allowing Canada to spread us out and attack all game long.... I didnt see any changes in defense.... did you?
Still had probably 13 of the top 20 most talented players in the entire tournament. That's not any excuse.
Cal has said it was mostly his fault..He said he should have trapped, tried zone defense .. do something different.How about the Ast coaches.. did they not suggest defenses
I think it is funny how everyone expects us to win everything every time with a team that has been together for 2 weeks. I'm guessing most other teams we played against have been together longer

LOL did I say it would kill recruiting? If playing the platoon hurt our recruiting and just ask the TJ Walker (because people in the know said it did) then obviously something like this can sway a recruit or two away and that by definition is hurting recruiting.
Because of a loss? With 19 and under kids? No I think we're good. High schools don't give a damn about this shit.

Rival coaches do care and they will hit that note until the key is a stump. Power of persuasion ... Say something enough and people might just believe it. Look it up... psychology is a helpful tool in everyday life.
Hasn't they been doing stuff like this since he's been here, and he still getting top classes each year.

You've lost your mind. Kids aren't going to not go to UK because a team coached by Cal lost in Egypt in the Semifinals with a bunch fo kids he barely knows. Only an idiot of a rival coach would try to use today against us. SMH.
Coaches used the Platoon against us and it worked with a few kids....... .... These coaches will try and spin anything to their favor.

Not going to lie.... Calipari was embarrassing today. No effort, no defense, horrible lineup against the zone.. and watching diallo and washington against tough defenses makes me want to predict an 8+ loss season for UK... ugh..
