Arkansas fans, I could have told you VERBATIM what Cal was going to say after this loss. He acts like you guys trailed all game lol. “We had every chance to win”. Yeah, generally with a 13-point lead 3/4 of the way through the game, you have a pretty damn good “chance”.
Cal stall ball with a lead. Absolutely drove me nuts. Costs us I don’t know how many games
Typical Cal team, talented, athletic, but can't make the 3. Last year's UK team was an outlier for him.

DJ is never coming off the court. He looks improved but shooting will always be a worry. He’s gonna play 32MPG this year easy.
At least 50 of his losses here were stall ball related.
Oh, my gosh, that sounds exactly like so many post game comments we had been hearing at UK after disappointing losses. I just shook my head when he closed the comments with "they aren't machines, they aren't robots". So tired of the same old comments from him and so happy we no longer have to listen to this stuff. He is who we all believed he was. Good luck, Arky fans!

Where are the Hoggs who came to this site looking for validation after beating a severely limited KU team? Do the same posters who declared the Hoggs to be a top 10 team after one exhibition game still believe they are top 10?
I don't even believe he is improved. Last year he played better earlier in the season than he did by season end. The more Cal tampers with players the worst they play. As we painfully know, it isn't the players; it is Cal.

If anyone is up to the task, I'd love to see a running thread of all the Arkansas fans posts that 100% mirror our same issues, as the season goes on. Would be hysterical to see some Arkansas fan be like "why the hell is DJ still getting 35 mpg when we start out so poorly!" .

Arkansas fans better get used to a lot of "learning" if games are close in the second half.
A 13 point lead is not enough to overcome Cal's lack of coaching/preparation against the better coaches.

Little bit different levels of competition though to be fair. Robinson’s conference shooting percentages have been pretty poor everywhere he’s been. Though I don’t think anyone doubts Kentucky will be a better shooting team overall for sure.
I went to their forum to see the discussion, but I didn’t find one comment on 2 boards. I’m guessing only 30 fans knew they even played.
