This is how BK works. The losses always fall on the mistakes of his players, not on the coaching.

Yeah, sure. When you have a QB like Daniels who’s dumber than a box of rocks either throwing too early (with no one in his face) 100 mph or waiting six seconds to throw it to you (wide open) so a defender can make a break to take your head off.

I’d go streaking if Boutte wanted to transfer here.

Yeah, we have all seen Boutte play. I don’t know if he is 100%, but before his injury, he was a beast. So, blaming him would not be my first take.

I don't get the 'overrated' tag. I don't like Kelly but he's been pretty successful everywhere he's gone. I mean, ND wasn't exactly challenging for NC until he got them into the BCS/CFP a couple of times. Did they deserve it? Probably not as the media slurps on them all year long (witness even today, ESPN has an article about updated odds to win it all and they have pictures of players from 3 teams: Bama (obvious), Ohio State (also obvious) and ND (already lost to OSU so have to figure the odds are long, right?)). He may not be 'elite' but he's pretty darn good and has a good overall record. He's already shot himself in the foot at LSU with the ridiculous fake accent and his attitude. But, he can recruit that area and he'll win a bunch of games at LSU if given time.

He is a good coach. That is hard to deny. I am not a fan, but he has demonstrated he is a good coach. Not warm and Eddy O fuzzy, but can coach. The comment to the media was asinine. Every time you step in front of the camera, you are recruiting. Every media person is a potential PR machine for you. Be smart.

Looking at the LSU schedule, they’ll get 3 OOC cupcake wins but then finding conference wins for them is slim pickings. This might be a four or five win LSU team. Kind of funny if FSU is acting like they’re hot ish after beating a team that finishes 4-8.
