That didn't stop Kyle Wiltjer from becoming an All-American or Bryce Hopkins from becoming All-Big East. No, it is possible to rob a person of their confidence in ways that will never them to regain it.
He has his strengths and weaknesses for sure, he ran the point well. He can shoot and he made a couple inside ,ones that surprised me. He will always probably be a liability on defense and his size is a factor.I was surprised at how well he ran the point. Handled the ball well. Passes well So much Bball iq. As he matures he will be a top pg.
Exactly, he has the size to be a good player. Definitely liked what he showed in the exhibition but let’s not anoint him an AA yet. I think he will be a good player of his career here and will represent us in the best way. It’s always great having talented kids who grew up loving UK and dreaming of playing here and winning a ship.Don’t wanna rain on anybody’s parade, but some folks are getting a bit carried away in this thread. The dude hit four shots in an exhibition game against a lower division team when we were already up by about 60. It was mighty fun, but I’m not sure what that really tells us about him.
Y’all might wanna wait until he’s faced some actual Division 1 defenders in a real game before unleashing the Noah hyperbole.
Just so everyone knows it’s KRIISA. I even started making the mistake of Krissa but it’s not that. He’s got plenty time to learn without pressure with Butler and Krissa mentoring him. He sure knows how to play.
What about his tips on offensive rebounds to open players who then scored. IQ plays.
Fans have to get away from wanting the Cal athlete vs the skilled high iq bball player. Not every player has to be great at both ends. Blend in varied skill sets.
Perry plays similar to an old school guy Louie Dampier. Not the biggest, quickest best defensive player but sure contributed with heady play and a deadly jumper. Hope he turns out close to him and he’s got 4 years to get there.
So what!!That didn't stop Kyle Wiltjer from becoming an All-American or Bryce Hopkins from becoming All-Big East.
So maybe the "Calipari hates Kentucky kids" theory is just a fallacy, and Dontaie is just not as good as you hoped he would be.So what!!
I can't pronounce "II" so I'm just going to call him Jamal.Just so everyone knows it’s KRIISA. I even started making the mistake of Krissa but it’s not that.
It’s like KreeesaI can't pronounce "II" so I'm just going to call him Jamal.
So Kerr Jamal?I can't pronounce "II" so I'm just going to call him Jamal.
Both are true.So maybe the "Calipari hates Kentucky kids" theory is just a fallacy, and Dontaie is just not as good as you hoped he would be.
It’s like Kreeesa
Noah is a pretty strong and physical player as a freshman already, and we know that maturity and physical development should enhance that quite a bit more. I believe that physicality can help him tremendously on defense against guys that are a little quicker. I also think Noah would be fine at 2G, but I really like his potential at SF due to his physicality - and, of course, he shoots it well too already.I think Noah will be fine, most freshmen that come here don't know how to play defense. Most of our 5 star players we had the last several years had all of the athletic ability and quickness you need and still couldn't guard anybody. He will only get better as time goes by.
Just your opinion, there is more evidence that suggests otherwise. So maybe the "Calipari hates Kentucky kids" theory is just a fallacy, and Dontaie is just not as good as you hoped he would be.
This is the way, he takes over for Threeves. It's obviously Threesa
... nice ceiling indeed.Noah's ceiling is Wally Szczerbiak/Matt Harpring, which is a pretty high ceiling.

Well, Wally was also an All-American as a senior, averaging 24 ppg and leading his team to the Sweet Sixteen. That ain't bad...... nice ceiling indeed.
People have been saying things like this, but he does good things and his mistakes have come from trying too much.He has his strengths and weaknesses for sure, he ran the point well. He can shoot and he made a couple inside ,ones that surprised me. He will always probably be a liability on defense and his size is a factor.
Pelphrey, Feldhouse, and Farmer were not nba prospects either but they are part of one of the most enjoyable seasons everI'm not yet sold either of them will be NBA guys, but I see these guys as potentially having great college careers. I think they will have professional careers, but I just wonder if it will be overseas somewhere.
