As long as you’re making progress toward a degree you can play . He needed to graduate fully to hit the portal
The talk is that he needs that many credits to graduate.
And since he transferred once--the NCAA won't let him transfer and be immediately eligible unless he is a grad transfer.
On the flip side, he still has eligibility left. He can come back to Kentucky. He just can't transfer somewhere else and play.

Potential means nothing. Recruiting or players coming back. Unless they're actually on the roster the 2023-24 season, he didn't "turn anything around".
If we had those guys locked in early in the process, I think everyone would have been OK especially if the addition of Somto was still on the table. It would have seemed like Cal did have a plan. But now it seems like it was just luck that it turned out this way.
I agree. Luck plays a huge factor in March though so maybe this season we will get some lucky breaks. Bradshaw injury not a good start though even if we finish up with a competent roster.
I think the Bradshaw injury actually helps secure Mitchell. And if Bradshaw gets back to play, Cal can spread the minutes out and save some legs for tourney time.
I went from complete doom and gloom, to semi-optimistic with the soon to be addition of Tre Mitchell. (All signs pointing toward him coming to UK). We will be young for the most part but will have a couple talented veterans sprinkled in. Add Cyril, and I think we are set for our roster. Talented for sure, just hope they can come together as a squad.
Mitchell and Cyril. This team will be deep but young. If the freshmen are elite we are in for a dominant season. If not, well....

Yeah thats the real issue. Calipari won't adapt or change on the court. Even if we have a good year don't see a shot at a title or even final four.

Your point is what makes Nolan’s tweet even more ridiculous. A guy whose team is coming off a 4 win season blasting a HOF coach about what he does on draft night. Kentucky hasn't contacted and no visit set up. Moments later Coach O has contacted. Give it a bit and we will hear that a visit has been set up for this weekend or early next week. All a smokescreen to not give the appearance of tampering.
