You've finally admitted to one point of progressive doctrine that you don't agree with. Progress. However, if the goal was only freedom to have your own "personal life" there would be no problem.
Progressives demand that every "personal life" be publicly accepted, accommodated, and normalized. The sane world must devolve to the lowest level of every individual insanity to reach "equity". And there is no bottom to the depths of human insanity that under these rules can only lead to the complete destruction of a rational, moral society.
It's a religion with no redeeming qualities.
I seriously doubt that is your opinion for all things that don’t impact your life. Starvation in a third world country truly does not impact your life. You dgaf about starving people you will never see or know? Or, do you rationalize a connection between yourself and the issue when you want to express an opinion?
I have an opinion about a political liberal who claims he does not have an opinion about this. It is that he has an opinion, but it aligns with science and not emotion and that has him conflicted. He does not want to admit the people he construes as conservative are correct.
When a person claims science as hate they have declared themselves the center of their universe and can believe anything at all. Saying trans people should not compete against biological females has nothing to do with hate. But, it is politically expedient and sophomoric to argue with emotional ad hominems when you otherwise cannot support your position. When you see your side on issues use such ridiculousness, you really should question your side. There are trans people who follow science and admit that trans people should not be competing with biological females. Recognition of science has not led them to self-hate.

I never claimed I had no opinion on all issues that don’t directly effect me. I have plenty of opinions about plenty of issues. I just don’t feel the need to have an opinion about every single issue on earth. Especially if I have limited knowledge of the issue. And I certainly don’t feel the need to announce my outrage regarding things I have limited knowledge about.

Yet, this very thread is about discussing the issue of competition in sports and you appear to have tried very hard to make it about something else. If you read through the thread looking for signs of hate, you are one who stands out. Now, start a thread about your aunt Mary having the right to be aunt Mary if that is the thread you desire. I think you may find a lot of political conservative and libertarian people who agree that it does not bother or affect them, either.
What does this mean? Trans people who want to engage in athletic competition are silly and stupid?

The whole "doesn't affect my life" is kind of silly to me. Plenty of things you have an issue with, don't actually affect your life. Kentucky basketball, doesn't really affect your life, yet we care about it.
Is some trans person affecting my life? No. But I dont think you can switch genders and compete in a "lesser" level of competition just so you can look better. And I dont care to listen to some girl-turned-guy try and tell me what it's like to be a man.. and I sure bet that most women don't want to hear it from a guy either. Imagine the "balls" to be a guy who pretends to be a girl, to think he has the same experience as being a girl.. to know what it's like to have your period every month or know how powerless a girl might be in the face of a man who wants to harm you..

They always claim "it doesn't affect your life" but when you normalize crazy enough, it absolutely will affect your life. It sets precedent. Makes it difficult to argue to stop it. I'm sure there's parents of girls who it affects. Imagine your daughter training and working her ass off only to unfairly lose out on accomplishments because some messed up dude couldn't hang with other guys.

I’m a pretty liberal, pro-trans rights person, but when it comes to biological men competing against biological women, I just can’t see the fairness in it. Even if you give trans women all the hormone replacement treatments you can for many years, a biological man just has a natural advantage due to the development from testosterone in their system. I also don’t claim to have the solution bc there isn’t enough trans athletes to have a separate division. Maybe one day…

They also control most if not all sports including the NCAA, corporations, schools, big tech, MSM, Hollywood, and the entire federal government. The implementation and normalization is being enforced with a heavy hand.

My only recommendation is to stop letting Fox News tell you what the other side thinks.

I think the extreme left has hurt the Democratic Party but 90% of those on the left don’t align with the more radical views. That said, the right has been successful in pushing that false narrative within their own base.
I’m not trying to go into defense mode…literally all i did was provide my independent opinion of trans athletes in sports. I’m not on here to defend the party. I have issues with it myself, but I don’t necessarily align my political ideology with the particular political party. I can be liberal and more progressive but be critical of the Democratic Party. I’d vote for a Republican if they were more level headed than those in the Trump base.
Dude. Just shut the **** up. You say you don't align yourself with the radical views yet your party is nothing but the radical views now. So when you cast your vote for a dem you cast your vote for those radical elements to take hold. That's how voting works.

In a general sense (in my own words) any right that non-trans people have that allows them to live freely, accepted, safely, and comfortably away from discrimination. This goes into not passing judgement on the decisions they want to make or imposing restrictions to pursue their happiness as a transgendered person.
