Top 3 seeds went 22-1 this weekend

I was about to make a similar post. Assuming Houston and San Diego St both hold on to win, the Sweet 16 seeds will be:

EAST: 1, 2, 3, 5
MIDWEST: 1, 2, 3, 5
WEST: 1, 2, 4, 6
SOUTH: 1, 2, 4, 11 (the 11 being NC State, in our spot)

Turned out to be a pretty chalk bracket, with one GLARING exception!

Don’t you mean 23-1? Pretty sure 22-1 is mathematically impossible.

But I get your point. Embarrassing that UK represents the only loss in that group. But those sort of embarrassing stats come so often in the last few seasons that I’ve almost become numb to them.
Sadly the math adds up, because... we lost our first game :(

Assuming Houston closes this out
Makes it even worse. The 1 loss was to a 6 seed in the 2nd rd. We lost to a dam 14 1st rd.

Drew and Cal the only top three seeds who lost. That about says it all. Now how many of the remaining teams in the sweet 16 rely on Freshmen ? Men against Boys is the way the last two final fours have played out. No different this year. Watching Houston last night totally confirms this . Fifth year Shead leads them into battle and he looks more like a middle line backer. We have no one on our team other than Thiero who fits this physical mold when it seemed every other player for Houston did.
