Exactly right. MKG wasn't projected to be the #2 pick in the draft. BUT he was.... Eric Bledsoe, when he signed here no one projected him to be a 1st round pick after only 1 year. BUT he was.

We have to understand the sports media is forever wedded to Duke!! But sure is good to watch that UK owns the real draft! UK's players also own greater success as players in the NBA. So screw Duke! Numbers don't lie!!

I agree with this.

Grimes is the better fit with Barrett and Williamson if we land them.

Grimes is the better ball handler, passer, and shooter.

But I am good with whichever we land.

Johnson is a real gamer. But Grimes is a better shooter and better athlete. Ballhandling might be a push.

I too think that Johnson, Barrett, Zion, Bol, and Hayes is Calipari's current plan A. I have zero worries either way and know that whatever UK ends up with will be legendary like every other class signed during a crop of HS players as stacked as this one

You could be right but Cal has been amazing in understanding the young men that he has recruited. To get talent like that to buy in before the season is over is extremely difficult without a number of juniors and seniors. Not saying that every kid he didn't recruit was a problem would be so incorrect, but there have been problems that he has avoided while we all thought he made a mistake. Great coach and valuator of young men.
