...your thinly-veiled "I support Pope and all, but..." opening line gives you away.

Couple of questions for you:

Will you keep posting on here the next several weeks...even once the roster and coaching staff starts to fill up?

Will you EVER post anything TRULY supportive and positive to try to keep your veil up? That would be clever of you!

If (when) UK starts having success, will you post your crow-eating thread and admit you were only here for one reason (not as a supporter of UK)?

And finally, once Cal does his inevitable job at Arkansas (crazy-high potential players, decent regular season with some head-scratching losses mixed in with some big wins, and an early flame-out in the tournament -- likely caused by several tactical coaching errors OR by "tightness" of his too-counted-on teenage players), will you come on here and say, "same old Cal" like the rest of us who have been fatigued for the last 5 years or so will?

....my guess is it'll be a NO to all those questions.

I read this board everyday. But I'm a 56-year-old woman that's a middle school teacher, drama director for our school, Beta Club director of our school (lots of trips and activities involved). I take care of my mother who lives in my home. I am so busy I can barely breathe sometimes. I only post once in a blue moon. I'm not a troll - just really, really busy. I glance through, read what I want to, and move on. If I care about the topic, I might respond. For example, I'm on my planning period right now and taking the time to respond, because everyone is not a troll just because they have a low post count. Go Cats!

I have put more people on ignore in the last 2 days than I ever had before. And will continue to do so in this first month.

I’ve been here since 2006 and I just don’t feel the need to respond to things very often. I’ve been blue since 72. Not A Troll. Just a fan that loves the Cats and posts occasionally.

My favorite is the kids from Duke, UConn or wherever that think they’re clever and that the UK board are a bunch of dumb hicks. Trying to fool early internet adopters as well as a number of IT specialists with decades of experience… not gonna go the way you thought it would. Best to just back away slowly and try not to make it angry.

I agree with all here except perhaps Cal's performance for at least a year or two. He is imo going to have to pick up his game somewhat to "show" everyone (especially us) that he was the program (in his mind of course). I believe he will want us to fail comparatively to prove a point. Next couple of years should be interesting.

On a side note, he will have to hire an X's and O's assistant to help out when the going gets tough.

I want to take a moment to salute you for obviously being an amazing person. Teaching middle school is a special calling. Taking care of the mother who took care of you is a special thing. Clubs, groups, etc, great job. I appreciate you and thank you for being awesome!

DEFINITELY not calling out you! (...part of why I resisted the urge to refer to those with a "low post count").

Was mainly meaning those -- regardless of how long or how many times they've posted -- who obviously think this was (and should've remained) the University of Cal.

Bless you for your work with kids and your mother!
