Admit it, y’all had those games reversed in the W/L column before the season started.

Now all we gotta do is split the Tx/OU/Mizzou/OleMiss games (which would make up for Vandy loss) and hold serve at home, then even if we get swept by BAMA we’ll still finish 12-6 in this league.

We’re not going to hold serve at home

Actually this win is worth more than any win we have this year to win on the road as a 10 point dog without 2 of your starters

Not to mention the value this win has for NCAA seeding a true road win vs what is a top 5 NET team

2 starters AND our sixth man.

Pope is a freaking boss. Like he is an elite, elite coach. Our time is coming with this man at the helm.

Thw only loss that hurts is not getting one of vandy/uga

while we did lose already at home to bama, what you are saying is that we are going to lose to (at least one) : Tennessee, Auburn, Vandy, South Carolina, LSU, or Arkansas when they come to visit. I wouldn't be surprised, but do you REALLY feel that way? I sure don't.

In the immediate aftermath of the biggest win of the season (arguably, even!) you're absolutely convinced of that?

wow.
just ... wow.

Definitely not a normal fan take. I think we’d won 15 straight at home before that Bama loss. No one should be shocked if we run off a few more.

You can think what you want, but stating your opinion to try to influence me requires me to care about your opinion for some reason. I’m all ears to why I should care what you think. Based on what I’ve seen, we’ll drop at least another game at home. Which requires us to be particularly good on the road, which I don’t have faith in.

15 straight would mean just this season? Maybe I’m misinterpreting things, but when someone says “hold serve” I think “undefeated”. If you are confident in that, fair enough. I wouldn’t be using our pre-conference schedule to convince people.

I think we can definitely get @OU and @TX. Think those are very winnable.

I expect us to hold serve at home as well, even with TN and Auburn coming to town, I think we can take those.

The question will be, can we win either the Mizzou or Ole Miss games. Win one of those as well, we're staring at 13-5.

Don't think we can do it, personally, after watching the UGA and Vandy games, BUT, the TN & Miss State games give me hope.

I admit I thought the UT game was the only game on the schedule we were almost certain to lose all year. But I did have a feeling the Cats might tonight. Even in the last two games they had started to improve in some areas and I saw it even if nobody else did see it.
