This is spot on. Lunardi flat is a great at picking who is in and who is out. He isn't very good otherwise. But in terms of the top 2 seeds it ain't hard. UK is in the midwest unless UVA slips up 2-3 more times . If UK does lose a few more then they are the 2 in the South.

As others have said, Lunardi is actually very good at predicting who will get in. Even when he misses, I attribute that more to the committee making bad decisions outside of its norms than it would be to Joe getting it wrong.

With that said, he and Palm have both made some amateur hour mistakes this year. Lunardi's latest bracket had Louisville in the Louisville region (not possible). Palm had one a few weeks ago that would have pitted UT and Ole Miss in round 2 (not possible). These guys do this for a living, I would expect them to not miss dumb things like that.
