96 had infinitely more talent. That doesn’t mean this team won’t be special, but that team is the GOAT of college ball.

Agree... I like this team, but those teams in the mid-late 90s were loaded with talent.

Come on guys I never mentioned the mid to late 90s teams because they did have the talent, they did have the depth and the experience.
One thing they didnt do was rely on the three like this one appears to do.
Don't get me wrong this team has low post presence too but not like those mid to late 90s teams did.
Also, any official exhibition # on all time UK slaughters? 71 has to be in the top 5.

For me just the fact that we actually move the ball and move players in a real offense is heaven.
The truly frightening things for future UK opponents is two fold:
A. This was the 1st time all these guys played together v an actual opponent and;
B. Krissa our PG didnt even play.
Serious trouble brewing for the rest of college basketball.

Butler is 100% our starting point guard. Kriisa will get lots of minutes as a reserve.
Let’s table this til after the Duke game. Give them a chance to show where they are against better athletes. If we dismantle them with superior execution, the sky’s the limit.
