I bet anything he just wants them back, not because it would add credibility and fairness to the platform, but to try and APPEAR that they are fair and have credibility. They will go hire those conservative writers, almost the way companies hire trans folks (except, one is actually being hired by merit), just to hit their quota. Those writers will then either be flushed ina few years, or even worse, probably just kept there for numbers and not actually publishing as many of their stories or articles.
