By refusing to penalize UNCheat for running the most corrupt academic scandal in the history of college athletics, the NCAA has basically admitted college sports has ZERO to do with good grades and performance in the classroom. The NCAA is as guilty as UNCheat. Not surprising that the governing body would turn a blind eye to one of its ca$h cows. The old axiom "Follow the money." could never be more appropriately applied.

what uncheat did was provide a blueprint to getting away with anything. cheat but offer a gen-ed student the exact same thing. lousiville should have invited regular students to the stripper parties, will wade should make a strong ass offer to some kid to come to lsu to study biology. then they could argue that the same offer they offered athletes, non-athletes had too.

and then buy a bunch of lawyers to bully the ncaa into submission through the court system.

what the ncaa really did here by getting scared of the big bad unc and their lawyers was give every other school the blueprint. if they try to penalize anyone for anything that happened after 2017, use this defense. the ncaa doing this will invite more corruption into college athletics...as hard as that is to believe.
