If you go by their actual performance on the court as college and pro players, the best class was probably KAT, Booker, Lyles, and Ulis.
Quality over quantity.
38-1 team here. Final Four. Three lottery picks. All four are in the league and doing well.
Second is probably AD, MKG, Teague, and Wiltjer. National champs. The top two draft picks. Three first rounders. I believe Wiltjer was an All-American at Gonzaga. AD is a top 5-10 NBA player right now.
I don't see a AD or a KAT type player on this squad. I see five potential lottery picks, though (Diallo, Knox, Vanderbilt, Richards, Washington). So it could end up being the best in that regard.
Remains to be seen what they do in college and the pros. They make the Final Four, produce five first rounders, and two or three have good pro careers, then we can talk.
It's too early to tell. Many thought Noel, Goodwin, Poythress, and WCS would be right up there. Lots of hype for the Skal, Murray, Briscoe, Humphries, and Matthews class.
Love the potential of this class, though. The length is unreal. The ball skills are off the charts. We have three 6'8-6'9 guys that can handle like guards. And this is a deep class. Seven in the top 30. Seven in the top 60.
