Kentucky dominated 2 of the most high powered offenses not only in the SEC but the nation in Georgia and Ole Miss.

If Hardaway is becoming a 'star is born' type of player to go with Hairston that will cement the D even more. Also like the way Bryant is playing. Give Collins a lot of credit for bringing these DB's on.

We are good, defensively. Looking like at least a Top 15, maybe Top 10 finish for scoring and total defense.

And while we’ll lose Walker and Hairston, likely this year, we have ALOT of talented players on defense in the last two classes.

I suspect the 2025-2018 defenses will be pretty nasty!

not true. 7 was a pick 6 and another 3 was after stoops went for it on his own 25 and didn’t get it.

So really gave up 21 against USC.

Regardless, we are allowing 13 points per game . Phenomenal

New OC and new QB making his first start against SEC competition. The offense was a disaster and the D played well until they were exhausted from being on the field every 2 minutes.
Give this D 5 minutes to catch their breath and they are kick ass.

So much of how I will remember this defense rests on how they do against TN. So far we really haven't had a UK defense slow them down.

Yah, I’d give it a few more games before we start crowning this the best defense of our lifetime. Not even sure it’s the best defense in the SEC this year (likely not). If Stoops has shown anything, it’s how he can eff stuff up. Let’s just get past Vandy.

It was a 2nd half aberration.
Like I said before, UK has played 10 halves and 9 of them the D has been lights out.
It happens, especially early in the season.
In the 3 games since v then #1 Georgia, Ohio and at then #6 Ole Miss, the Cats have allowed but 36 pts or 12 ppg or 3 ppq.
This Defense is elite and is going to get nothing but better as the season wears on as long as we stay basically healthy.

This is the main reason why Im giving no quarter to anyone the rest of the way not even at #4 UT or at #2 Texas.
We can win out and make the 12!

I still love this Cawood call: "Still picks up the fumble and heads upfield! LSU players are giving chase. I don't know what they think they are going to do if they catch him" He stated the latter part so calmly & matter-of-factly. Just hilarious - still & Still.
