** Note: I would imagine Kentucky will sign two offensive linemen and they may add another running back if there's another departure, but only if there's another departure (not decided yet). **

MORE
I've heard that there is renewed optimism when it comes to five-star offensive tackle Jedrick Wills, and those close to the Kentucky program believe they are the most likely landing spot for the Lexington (Ky.) Lafayette offensive tackle.

Earlier I had been saying I thought UK had a chance with JUCO defensive back Jhavonte Dean, who is committed to Alabama. I can't rule out the possibility but it seems like more recently I haven't heard as much about that. At one point there was some question as to whether Dean would be able to enroll early at Alabama. Based on what I've heard more recently it seems like Dean will indeed be enrolling early at Alabama. That has probably made him a more attractive player to their coaching staff.

I do think Jordon Carty (offensive tackle from South Broward in Florida) is a possibility for Kentucky. At one point he was really looking at South Carolina, NC State and some others, but his recruitment has been shrouded in mystery for a while. Kentucky offered him more recently and he is set to visit on November 19. I spoke with someone (not close to UK) who said he's moved around to some different high schools and as of the summer there were some questions about his academic standing. Not sure exactly where that stands.

2019 Louisville defensive end Shawnkel Knight-Goff has a long way to go in his recruitment but I do believe Kentucky's going to be a player. He enjoyed his trip to Kentucky for a camp early in the summer. I saw him there and he's an impressive young guy. I don't think it's open-shut and Kentucky's going to have a lot of competition, but I think he will be open to the Cats. He told me that he wanted to go to UK-UGA but I don't believe he made it.
