Can confirm that Youngstown (Ohio) Chaney ATH DJ Waller and EDGE Jason Hewlett arrived at Kentucky this weekend for their official visits which run through the weekend. Currently the Rivals FutureCast is in favor of Michigan for both players. They're legit talents and both Vince Marrow and Steve Clinkscale are recruiting them. Obviously Michigan is having a second straight excellent season but Youngstown is special for UK and they're going after them hard.
The comp for Hewlett that I've heard is Arvell Reese. Very similar players. He was committed to Cincinnati until recently and he is a really big-time talent. Hearing he's right around 6'4, 225 right now. Waller is probably a safety prospect and has good length in the secondary.
When I checked in on how these visits were going yesterday I did not get the sense that commitments were imminent and this probably stretches into December since they're getting a lot of new interest now. Obviously an important weekend for UK's chances.
