THE MASTERS

^ Even is falling apart? Tough crowd.

How should one describe Koepka, Spieth, Rahm?

I didn't see any post-round interviews with Rory yesterday. He had to be frustrated.

Overnight rain here in Georgia. Course will be soft this morning.

Well, sitting at -4 tied for second, then on two holes, has a couple careless doubles to finish at E par I consider falling a part. Instead of 3 back, he is 7 back. Now, he puts himself in a position where he has to shoot a 65/66 are be even further back at the halfway point. So not falling apart per Se, but put himself in a must go low in round 2.
Never discount Justin Rose. He is one of those guys you never lay $ on, but after 2/3 rounds have you regretting it. Solid ball striker, which is what you need at Augusta, has played very well there. Not saying he will win, but I do not see him backing up to Rory. Rory will have to go get him.
Rose has finished 2nd twice and has 11 top 25s in the last 14 Masters. Cage Veteran, he will be one to watch. (Duh, -7 leader).

Funny tidbit, Scottie's champions menu was the cheapest dinner ever at the Masters, something like $77 per plate. Hideki's the most expensive, $122 per plate.

How dare you question the decisions of the esteemed members of ANGC and their decisions regarding TV coverage. You should be thankful they give you the 10 hours this week you get.

I remember when coverage on the weekend didn’t start until the back 9 so guess I should be grateful that’s no longer the case.

It’s not just the lack of seeing Bryson. How many players in the top 10 did we not even see?

Agreed. I was disappointed in the early, extended coverage "Featured Groups". They only showed Rose and McIlroy. The commentators failed to even mention what else was happening on the course. That's not good tournament coverage. You had to check the leaderboard to see DeChambeau's 4 under front nine.

Sure is a lot of people cheering for Rory. I always thought he was awfully pompous, and pulling for him over an American seems weird.
As a pure golf fan, I would like to see the Grand Slam accomplished only happened once in the last 60 years.

For me, The Masters is my favorite tourney all year.

I’d love to respectfully hear thoughts from those that think another major is better.
It’s definitely the top tourny. Prices on StubHub this year are out of control. 10-15k for a regular grounds pass. There’s not a tournament in the world that can compare to those prices.

I’ll be pulling for any Americans. During the Ryder Cup, they sure make it clear theyre not real big fans of Americans.

Coverage is good? Guys have already teed off and all they’re showing are people on the practice greens and talking about the wind.
Why aren’t the showing the tourny?

Rory has brought his A game to Augusta. If not for the mess Thursday afternoon he would be running away with it. Will take everything the best left in the field have to beat him as long as he does not have another meltdown.
