Think a TYLER & DEVIN primary backcourt would thrive next year with JOHN letting them play 30 plus minutes a piece.
It's CJC.

Dan Issel never played in a Final Four. Should we take his jersey down?

I don't know if you can use that argument when Cotton Nash and Dan Issel didn't get UK to the Final 4 either. (Ya I know first team AA but really)

* Booker is gone and can't see a scenario where either Harrison returns. Thought I read where Newman won't come if Booker returns (and went without saying if Aaron comes back). DJ needs to return obviously also.

* Congrats to GYERO's first couple on their loaf in the oven.

* Was anything more predictable than Chriz only serving a one game suspension?

being an all american.

I'd be fine with Bogans, Prince, Davis, Wall, Cousins.

I mean we have several up there that have done a hell of a lot less.

Way too early for anyone to definitively state that Booker is either staying or leaving. You don't know shit. I highly doubt Booker knows at this point.

If we do take down Issel's jersey, let's get someone other than a Mexican to do it.

Umm, sorry, Chaser- he GONE.

Anth- fire up your annual "he GONE" post for our boy here.

Turner deserves to go up, imo. I agree with chads 1st team AP AA take but I will add if you own a major UK career record and you have a national championship (2) that gets it done as well.

Wdrb just ran a model that said snow is moving southward, and we could get another 6-8" tonight.

Is this real, or just these dorks doing their usual dramatic "what if" scenarios?

Can you please research & analyze MCF?

I don't think ONLY 1st Team AAs should be eligible. Career accomplishments count, too.

With that said, nope on Turner. And he's my all-time favorite player.

This quiet little movement to make freshman ineligible again is appalling. There is zero chance it happens, but the fact that the Pac-12 and Big 10 conference commissions are floating the idea, and seemingly support it, is honestly embarrassing for the NCAA. Anyone in collegiate athletics who supports going back to the dark ages of freshman ineligibility should be slapped across the face and fired immediately. Absolute insanity.

Turner? Come on. He was awesome, an all time favorite.

I THINK EVERY GOOD PLAYER SHOULD GO UP IMO.

Cawood is the worst basketball poster (who actually tries to be good) in GYERO. It's not even close.

Hey Chad. How about you don't change your all time favorite player every week?

I've known you for 13 years, and never ONCE have heard you declare Turner as your "all time favorite". I've heard Davender, Epps, MKG, Delk, Andrew Harrison, and several others though.

Eventually they are going to have to have press the reset button on the selection process.

All I know is if it takes 20 years before Davis' jersey hangs from the rafters like it took Delk's the system sucks.

It really is embarrassing. Essentially banning basketball players from organized competition in the U.S. while they are 18-to-19 years old. ("BUT THE D-LEAGUE!!" No.)

There's absolutely no justification, under the guise of "everything to benefit the student-athlete" to holding EVERYONE out of competition arbitrarily for a year, smack in the middle of their development.

And, in the grand scheme of things, there's no benefit to college basketball in running off the best athletes. And you're going to have a lot of the same issues anyway because the best players are still going to leave when they're ready, they'll just be doing it as 20-year-olds instead.

(I realize that this applies to more than basketball, but it sure seems like a basketball-motivated idea).

Its weird for sure when I was at Riley's and Mashburn's on the same night one less than 10 years one going on 40.

I think it is awesome the B10 is stupid enough to advocate for this. One more recruiting tool for Stoops to use up in Ohio trying to get recruits away from chosing Michigan State, Nebraska, Michigan, Penn St. Hell even the ones Ohio State wants.

why go play for the conference who wants to force you to redshirt, even if you are ready to play?

Always been Davender, Epps and Turner, bro.

Karlito sounds a lot like Conky.

So, is this whole thing another joke these guys are pulling? Like the where's Trey thing, or the photobombing?

"What if I told you that the best player on an undefeated team was actually two players? 'Karlito's Way' - an ESPN 30for30."

Cal was great today, if you haven't watched his pre-Auburn presser. Some different stuff, for once...and he's in his element.

Full Video on CJ/Kyle Tucker.

Sae's coke and a book advice is stupid. I grabbed a coke and the Internet waiting for my delayed flight. Did not work. Then I grabbed a couple makers and cokes. Worked much better. JFK airport is more 3rd world than the Bahamas. TS. Literally 20 people on this JetBlue flight. Hope the Atlantis is equally empty.

Proud of gyero for not suggesting freaking Chuck Hayes for jersey retirement.

Usually one in every bunch.

-If this team goes 40-0 I am in favor of some kind of special recognition in the rafters. Not sure if you go so far as to make the banner white with blue lettering, but it should be recognized IMO.

None of us should get 6 inches. Might get a few more overnight but the nasty as cold rain tomorrow should eliminate it. BAd news is, this shit is here to stick around at least for the extended forecast.

Damn, I'd pay 10k for just 2 days in the high 40's.

Pretty sure you could take a quick weekend Caribbean vacation for that. Not sure though. May have to use Apple.

The thing about Chuck Hayes is that besides the fact that he wasn't very good, his defining moment at UK, through no fault of his own, is sitting on the bench with 4 fouls in his last game. As an emotional leader of the team, Chuck deserved a signature feel-good moment that some of the other Tubby era players had, and it just didn't happen.

Tayshaun had the puppy scent.

Bogans had "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF".
