Cal is always explaining to his guys why he made the subsitutions that he did. It's like he feels bad about having to sit guys anytime he does so he has these positive excuses built in. I don't think being that open to players is something that is all to common among coaches but maybe in this day in age it is.

Even the ones that didn’t leave under ideal circumstances. They never bad mouth Cal.
