Are you buying the "projection" that 126M devices were tuned into the game?

I think Devices is the key there. That's all of the tvs, cell phones, streaming devices, and computers. I could see that.

Just about every person I know was tuned into it at some point yesterday...if only for the commercials and halftime show. Why would you question those numbers? It probably underrepresents eyes on the game with all the Superbowl parties.

It's probably more since people love to illegally stream games now to protest all the streaming services you have to buy now just to watch the NFL.

Yea, hit one guy watching as 5 views because he had 2 tv's, 2 phones and an Ipad all on at one point during game.

Definitely doesn’t represent the number of viewers. You’d also have to consider the number of people close to large metro areas who may not even have cable or a streaming service, but use an antenna. At any rate the NFL is KING down here. The sports bars are packed for NFL games regardless of the importance or what night. I was going to grill my own wings as usual, but wound up getting them from Wingstop because the stores and butcher that I usually buy from were sold out three days ahead. I ordered two days in advance, otherwise, we wouldn’t have had any. We went to pick them up and it was SRO with people picking up.

I watched it on my phone on Tubi for free. I turned it off at halftime though.

Eagles were clearly better team.

I believe it. I think a lot of people hate watched it because they were hoping to see the Chiefs get their ass kicked (and they did)

Agreed, I can believe the number. If a sports bar has 20 televisions streaming the game, then that's 20 devices in one single location.
Yeah.

We had about 45/50 folks in a small town sports bar watching 7 screens/devices.

And the SB is big in Canada and Mexico, so I have no doubt that many “devices” carried it, and far, far more eyes watched it than there were devices carrying it.

So much of analytics are absolute BS to tell advertisers.
Are you saying there weren't that many people watching the SB and it's all BS analytics with fake viewership #s?
I don't know a single person that didn't tune in for all or part of it.

I'm guessing those numbers are for worldwide viewers and if so yes I could believe those numbers and it would be a very low number for the actual eyes that saw the game because of bars and parties that had many guests.

Even my wife watched it and the halftime show, and she wouldn't walk across the street to watch Kentucky play Notre Dame in the college football championship game, so yes, I believe 126M devices, easily.

[Actually, she probably would walk across the street to see the CF champ game, but if I wanted to take a friend instead, she would be just as happy]
