Agreed, I can believe the number. If a sports bar has 20 televisions streaming the game, then that's 20 devices in one single location.I think Devices is the key there. That's all of the tvs, cell phones, streaming devices, and computers. I could see that.
Yea, hit one guy watching as 5 views because he had 2 tv's, 2 phones and an Ipad all on at one point during game.I think Devices is the key there. That's all of the tvs, cell phones, streaming devices, and computers. I could see that.
Definitely doesn’t represent the number of viewers. You’d also have to consider the number of people close to large metro areas who may not even have cable or a streaming service, but use an antenna. At any rate the NFL is KING down here. The sports bars are packed for NFL games regardless of the importance or what night. I was going to grill my own wings as usual, but wound up getting them from Wingstop because the stores and butcher that I usually buy from were sold out three days ahead. I ordered two days in advance, otherwise, we wouldn’t have had any. We went to pick them up and it was SRO with people picking up.Just about every person I know was tuned into it at some point yesterday...if only for the commercials and halftime show. Why would you question those numbers? It probably underrepresents eyes on the game with all the Superbowl parties.
