We have had better crowds for most (all?) Spring Blue/White games. This is worse than Joker’s last home game!
I would’ve at least replaced the “Game time!” with “Game time?” to make it look like people were confused on what time it started.I don’t believe I would have posted that video if I was them.
Late arriving crowd, the parking lot is packed with pre-gamers that haven’t came in yet. At least 100 people
As one UL player said concerning another school “ that’s one of those academic schools “
Great for VanderbiltA story circulating about the Vandy QB is when he registered for classes he wanted online classes, and was told Vandy didn't do online classes.
USC & UCLA did what was best for them: More $$$. Schools do it all the time. Stanford & Cal should have stayed in their west coast lane PAC12.USC and UCLA really screwed up west coast football. It’s messed up that Stanford is in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Without regional rivalries, the games are less exciting and it should be no surprise when attendance and interest falls off at west coast schools.

Stanford, in general, just sucks at drawing crowds. The announced attendance at the game was 36,277. Last year, the announced attendance for their home games against good teams:USC and UCLA really screwed up west coast football. It’s messed up that Stanford is in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Without regional rivalries, the games are less exciting and it should be no surprise when attendance and interest falls off at west coast schools.
Great for Vanderbilt
It's almost like they think they should focus on education....Stanford among many other mega rich universities is why money and resources doesn’t always equal dominance in sports.
They are one of the wealthiest Universities with one of the wealthiest alumni bases in the world. Big endowment and no telling how much they get in royalties from all the inventions, patents, IP that comes out of there.
It’s why I’ve never bought “ oh the rich will dominate college sports if this or that…”
Not really…the mega rich schools don’t really dominate in anything…revenue sports anyway.
Yeah just different. It's almost like they think they should focus on education....
Perhaps attendance will pick up later in the year for the Battle of the Cardinals: 11/18, Louisville at Stanford.
Their women's volleyball team will fly more miles than 3 NHL teams.
Stanford students are too busy making $$$... Stanford Endowment - $36,500,000,000
I can respect those priorities.
Yep; "B" as in billion... it's the third largest endowment in the U.S., after Harvard and Yale, and I wouldn't put it past them to catch Yale in our lifetime.Is that 35.5 . . . B . . . B . . . B . . . BILLION??
They can more than afford to suck at football.
Misplaced priorities. It's almost like they think they should focus on education....
